Street Werx LLC ("Street Werx", "we", "us") operates a commercial truck repair shop at 1710 Eagleville Road, Tiverton, RI 02878. The website at streetwerx.com is operated by Street Werx LLC.

Using the website, the customer portal, or our repair services means you accept these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site or hire the shop.

The website provides information about Street Werx services, lets you request a repair quote, and (for active customers) provides a portal to view repair status, photo updates, approve estimates, and pay invoices. Information shown about specific jobs, quotes, and invoices is private to that customer; do not share account credentials.

A quote or estimate is a good-faith assessment based on the information available at the time. It is not a contract until you approve it in writing (signed estimate, portal acceptance, email confirmation, or text confirmation). If we discover additional work once a repair is underway — hidden damage, parts unavailable, scope change — we stop work and call you before continuing. Final cost may differ from the original estimate only if you've authorized the change.

Invoices are due on receipt unless we've agreed to other terms in writing. Online payments are processed by Stripe. A vehicle remains in our possession until the invoice is paid (mechanic's lien per Rhode Island General Laws § 34-47). Late balances may accrue 1.5% monthly interest after 30 days.

Manufacturer warranties on parts pass through to you — those are the binding terms and they vary by part and brand. Labor and workmanship terms are agreed at quote time on a per-job basis; ask before the work starts and we'll document the terms on the written estimate. Sublet work (DPF cleaning, internal engine or transmission rebuilds, alignment, driveshaft balancing) carries the sublet shop's warranty — we pass the paperwork to you. We can decline service if a repair is unsafe, beyond our scope, or if the relationship has broken down. If we decline a job already underway, we'll bill only for work completed.

We do our best to give accurate information on the website, but details about specific services, pricing ranges, and turnaround times are general guidance. Your job's actual scope, cost, and timeline are defined by the written estimate for that job. The site, services, and portal are provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted access.

Street Werx LLC's total liability for any claim arising from the services or website is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages — lost revenue, lost contracts, downtime — to the maximum extent allowed by Rhode Island law.

We document repairs with photos and short videos for our records and to send you status updates. Unless you tell us otherwise in writing, we may use anonymized photos (no plate numbers, no business markings, no faces) on the website or in marketing materials to demonstrate the type of work we do. Tell us if you'd prefer your job not be used this way.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island. Any dispute is heard in the courts of Newport County, RI, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to a local venue.

We may update these terms; the date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site or services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
