Street Werx is a small shop. We collect information to do repair work, get paid for it, and tell you what's happening with your truck. We don't sell or share your data, and we keep only what's required.
Who we are

What we collect
We collect only what we need to service your vehicle and communicate about repairs:
- Contact details you give us through the contact form, by phone, by SMS, or in person — name, company, email, phone, optional truck info (year/make/model/VIN).
- Repair details you submit or that we record while servicing your vehicle — descriptions, photos of the work, estimates, invoices.
- Account data if you create a customer-portal login — email and authentication tokens stored by our authentication provider (Supabase). We do not store passwords ourselves.
- Payment data handled exclusively by Stripe when you pay an invoice online. We never see or store your card number; we receive only confirmation that the payment cleared.
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, request paths) collected by our hosting provider for security and uptime monitoring. We do not run advertising or tracking analytics.
How we use it
We use your information to: schedule and perform repair work, send quotes and invoices, send service updates and photo documentation, respond to questions, comply with our tax and recordkeeping obligations. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to build marketing profiles.
Third parties we rely on
These vendors process data on our behalf so we can run the shop. Each is bound by their own privacy terms.
- Supabase — database, file storage, and authentication. Hosts your customer-portal account, repair-job records, and photo updates.
- Stripe — payment processing for online invoice payments. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified; we never see your card data.
- Resend — transactional email (quote sent, invoice ready, repair update). Used only for messages you've asked to receive.
- Twilio — SMS for repair updates and two-way text conversations with the shop. Standard message rates apply on your carrier; you can reply STOP at any time.
- Netlify — website hosting.
How long we keep it
Repair records, invoices, and payment confirmations are kept for seven years for tax, warranty, and consumer-protection purposes. Contact-form submissions that don't lead to a job are deleted after two years. Customer-portal accounts and their data persist as long as the account is active; on request we delete the account and any data not retained for legal reasons.
Your choices
You can ask us at info@streetwerx.com for: a copy of the data we hold about you, a correction to anything that's wrong, or deletion of data we are not legally required to keep. We respond within 30 days. To stop SMS updates, reply STOP to any message. To stop email updates, click the unsubscribe link or email us.
Cookies
Our site uses essential cookies only — session and CSRF tokens needed for the customer portal. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when our practices change. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes are announced via email to active customer-portal users.
